Looking for a relaxed basketball circle in Tokyo that welcomes beginners and international students? GAKUORI is Tokyo's No.1 basketball circle, drawing students from universities across the city — and no basketball experience is needed to join.
Who Joins GAKUORI?
Most participants are beginners — no experience or rules knowledge required. The circle is popular with university students, working adults, women, and Korean and international exchange students. Solo first-timers are very welcome.
Regular Sessions
GAKUORI holds regular basketball sessions in the Setagaya and Kichijoji areas.
Fee: ¥1,000 per session | No joining fee | No monthly fee

This is a social party — no basketball experience needed!
